PWHL - 23 Hour Play

In 2026, Daylight Savings stole an hour from International Women’s Day, making it only 23 hours long. To show that women can do more with less, we changed the players who normally wearing #24 to #23 across the PWHL Internal Women’s Day games. The switch became our call to action & helped raise over $25,000 for women’s hockey charities on the shortest day of the year.
